Light Up the Night: Fused Glass Nightlight
Instructor: Kimberly Tringali, Cabin Fused Glass Thursday, November 12 | 1 -3 pm Beginner | All supplies included
Add a little holiday color and glow to your home with a nightlight you create yourself. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will design a one-of-a-kind fused glass nightlight inspired by the season, using colorful sheet glass, frit, stringers, and decorative accent pieces.
Kimberly will guide you through safely working with cut glass and arranging colors, shapes, and textures to create your own holiday design. Think twinkling trees, ornaments, snowflakes, winter colors, festive patterns, or something completely your own. You will also get a behind-the-scenes look at glass fusing, including why compatible glass matters and how different kiln-firing techniques transform individual pieces of glass into a finished work of art.
No glass experience is needed. Your nightlight can be whimsical, elegant, traditional, colorful, or as unique as your own holiday style.
At the end of the workshop, your glass piece will remain with the instructor for kiln firing and final assembly. Finished nightlights will be returned to Artistic Creations and available for pickup within one week of the class.
