About the Workshop
Curious about crochet but not sure where to begin? This four-week class is designed for true beginners—no experience necessary!
We’ll start with the basics and build your skills each week, from holding your hook and yarn and making your first stitches to reading a simple pattern and beginning a project of your own. The instructor will supply yarn, 2 hooks, and stitch markers.
Students will choose from two beginner-friendly project designs, scarf or hat, to make their own as they practice their new skills. Along the way, you’ll learn how to count stitches and rows, recognize common mistakes, fix the ones we can (because they will happen!), and become more comfortable working on your own.
Each class is two hours, giving us plenty of time to learn, practice, ask questions, and troubleshoot without rushing. Registration will close on Nov 4th and minimum enrollment is 5 participants.
The goal isn’t perfection—it’s to leave the series with the skills and confidence to pick up a hook, choose a beginner pattern, and keep crocheting on your own.
This class is scheduled to be held upstairs in The Club, accessible by stairs. Please contact us before registering if stairs present a mobility concern.
